February 2026 · Al Nakheel — Riyadh · Ground floor
Dar Al Nakheel
An occupied ground floor, retrofitted wirelessly with no demolition and no exposed runs, in four days.

The house was lived in and furnished, and that changes everything: every decision is measured by the mark it leaves on the wall.
The wireless route
We used modules behind the existing switches on a Zigbee mesh with repeaters at two points. Not one wall was opened, and no switch changed appearance.
- Living room, majlis and corridor lighting across four scenes.
- A smart lock with a local log, and an Arabic voice assistant.
- Two motorised blinds in the living room tied to the evening scene.
What we deliberately left out
The owner suggested wiring the whole kitchen. We advised postponing it: appliances there get replaced faster than the system, and the daily value is lower than lighting and climate.
