What we see most in Riyadh homes is not an absence of technology but a pile-up of it: lighting from one vendor, cameras from another, air conditioning from a third, and five apps on one phone.

Integrate rather than replace

We did not replace working hardware. We added a local controller that speaks Matter, Zigbee and ONVIF at once, then built a single panel on top of it.

• The existing lighting stayed in place and was reprogrammed into scenes.
• Cameras moved off the cloud onto local storage.
• Air conditioners joined the schedule through infrared modules.

Five apps became one panel on the wall.
